Who are we?
Our team of educators come from many types of access and rescue backgrounds. We pull our experiences through years of work in rescue teams responding to incidents in rural and urban environments.
"Mike is an exceptional teacher, his patient and detail oriented approach to technical skills lays a strong foundation, he then challenges and encourage students to develop the necessary problem solving skills to excel in the field. Most importantly Mikes approach develops confidence in your abilities to perform technical task and apply those skills in a dynamic environment.. What makes Mikes approach unique is his ability to maintain a strict adherence to the fundamentals balanced with strong problem solving and adaptability. I came back from a week in the desert a much stronger team member and have shared much of what I learned with my team."
Drew Clymer, Stowe Mountain Rescue
"I can't begin to say enough about Mike as an instructor and guide. I have been fortunate enough to be able to have Mike as a rock climbing guide and later as a rope technician instructor at Peak Rescue. To put it simply, Mike "gets it". His professional demeanor and knowledge are second to none. He has given me the knowledge, skill set and confidence to be a competent rescuer. I look forward to furthering my training with Corvus Professional."
Zach Brown, East Hartford Fire Department
"Mike changes up his teaching style to fit the student and the situation. I appreciate his willingness to work on the finer points of rigging and knot tying before and after class."
Connor Robbins, San Diego
“Mike’s professional experience, recreational experience and personality work together to make him one if the best instructors of any course i have attended. Our course was by far the most challenging and yet most rewarding and fun that I have attended.”
